DDR Assemblage Unit
General Description
The DDR assemblage unit provides real time data acquisition at a low cost. Ideally suited for remote data acquisition, the DDR can be easily deployed and ready to acquire data in a matter of minutes. The system is configured over the network. For high channel count systems, multiple units can be slaved together.
|
 |
Configured with powerful and versatile control software for turnkey operation, the DDR supports real-time tabular and graphical displays. The xDisplay client software supports display of data on either a local network or on the Internet. Offering easy to use spreadsheet setup, voltage/ EU calibration and LabVIEW/Unix/Linux connectivity, the DDR comes with both user-definable control scripts to support special functionality and Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) control loops.
Sampling rate is provided by an internal programmable clock which can also be used as an output to synchronize external equipment.
Built in signal conditioning provides for a notch filter to remove 50/60Hz interference, as well as a fixed 1kHz low-pass filter per channel. A user specifiable fixed gain is also offered.

Network Capable Real Time Data Acquisition Software
- Runs on any type of embedded or network attached data acquisition system
- Supports simultaneous acquisition from multiple data acquisition systems
- Acquired data is available to other applications in real time
- Spreadsheet style system configuration allows for easy setup and modification
- Supports both graphical and text based interface
- xDisplay software allows for data to be displayed on any network attached computer
- Multiple real time displays supported – current value, diagnostic, fft, etc.
- Full voltage/EU calibration
- Integrated control scripts allow special functionality and Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) control loop
The control software provides embedded or remote real time data acquisition configuration and control at a low cost. Ideally suited for the DDR, the software also supports third party data acquisition systems. Multiple systems from multiple vendors can be operated at the same time, with integrated data files. The software can be installed in the same computer as the data acquisition hardware, or installed on a system connected to the same network (or a combination of both).
The control software supports real-time tabular and graphical displays, with a variety of display types available such as diagnostic, and frequency domain plots. The xDisplay client software supports display of data on either a local network or on the Internet. Offering easy to use spreadsheet setup, voltage/ EU calibration and LabVIEW/Unix/Linux connectivity, software comes with user-definable control scripts using Visual Basic Scripting Language to support special functionality and Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) control loops.
Full voltage and Engineering Unit (EU) calibration is provided, and stored with each data file and configuration. Data file conversion tools are included, and multiple data formats are supported, such as the ability to acquire data directly into a Matlab formatted file.
