HPS
Advanced Solution for Perimeter Protection

The HPS is designed to protect a facility, especially remote, isolated and unmanned facilities within a defined perimeter from non-authorized intruders. The system detects, identifies and alerts whenever there is an intrusion attempt, sighting the nature of the intrusion, its direction, above or under ground.

How dose It Work

The sensors (geophones) are placed within a protected zone according to their sensitivity bringing into consideration the environmental parameters (sand, ground, a concrete plate, etc.). The cables are connected to each geophone and to data collecting device. The output of this collecting device is connected to a computer, containing the software for processing. The alarm system is connected to the computer output .The layout of geophones connections to the data collection unit can be serial or parallel, depending on the interface.
The collection unit can collect both analog and digital signals, and methods of signal transmission can range from cable, through optical fibres, to RF solutions
Any movement of living things or machines on the surface or underground in the protected zone will create seismic activity that will be picked up by the sensors.

The HPS Capabilities

The HPS enables continuous, reliable operation - independent of weather conditions, line-of-sight, and terrain. The system requires Low-maintenance to No-maintenance efforts with a Very low FAR (False Alarm Rate) in one hand and with Very High PD (Probability of Detection) in the other hand. The flexible architecture gives scalable options tailored by the customer needs which can be easily integrated with other systems.
The system can detect threat Classification
The HPS adds an underground layer of protection to any existing security system. The system is applicable for protection of strategic facilities, such as energy production, water treatment & storage, prisons, etc.

Performance Highlights

  • Motion detection (walking, running, crawling, vehicle) in ranges of tens-hundreds of meters
  • Detection of attempts to dig tunnels
  • 360° detection
  • Motion tracking
  • Self-learning and filtration of noises which have no threat potential
  • Real-time warning to remote command & control station
  • Logging
  • Integration with other security systems
